The top pic shows him adopting a C chord fingering, the lowest an E. But they are posed -- he forgot to take off his spring capo, which appears higher up the fretboard so that he could not actually have played those chords at all.

Attention to detail matters!

Playing between the nut and the capo is an advanced harmonic technique, any superior guitarist would know that !!!
