Does anyone know the lyrics to a song about a woman who did her washing depending on whether or not she thought it was going to rain that day. She determined this by looking at her husband in the morning to see to which side his private parts were lying. If it were lying to one side she knew it would rain and that it would be dry if it were lying on the opposite side. The last verse has her being asked what she would do if it was standing up straight and her reply was 'To hell with the weather the weshing can wait'. It would be marvellous if anyone has the dots or even better the chords as I like to strum along to songs I sing.

Yes that's the one now all I need to get are the chords as I'm not musical enough to work them out for myself!

Doris Rougvie (House of Song, Scottish folk festivals) sings it, but does it a capella.

Yes I've heard it sung a capella too, but I would love to get the chords or the dots to the tune if possible as I like to strum along whilst I am singing.
