If this is anything like the show I attended in 2012 it will be amazing. As I remember it the four families were all together on stage throughout and it was evident that they were entirely comfortable with one another with their minds set on engaging the sell-out audience in a night of unrestrained fun.
From the vibrant 'folk-rock' musicianship of the Doonans and the glorious, unrestrained vocal harmonies of the Wilsons, through the haunting interpretations of the Unthanks to the shear undiminished enjoyment of the Elliotts, that night had everything you could wish for - bring it on!

It really was a great show which could only have been improved by a little more collaboration.

Doreen Henderson can certainly still hold a tune and rouse an audience.

Another great concert from these north-east families of folk. I agree, it would have been good to more collaboration. The Wilson/Doonans worked very well, and the final song 'Miners Life' with all four families singing lead by the Wilsons, was outstanding. Thank you all.
