Subject: RE: Tech: Clapton's guitar From: gillymor Date: 25 Feb 16 - 11:15 AM Re the Byrdland he played at CfB he said he acquired it because he'd seen a picture of Chuck Berry playing one on an album cover (or maybe a publicity photo) but he couldn't find one with P-90's like Berry's and had to settle for one with humbuckers. |

Subject: RE: Tech: Clapton's guitar From: GUEST Date: 24 Feb 16 - 05:39 PM Since posting the enquiry I have been told that the guitar Eric Clapton played in "HHR&R" was a 1957 Byrdland. The company later made a cheaper version, the ES-350 T. I would be happy to own either. |
