Has anyone come across any songs or poems referring to the small dinghy-like boats used in the Bristol channel and Severn estuary that are known as flatners or flatties?

I remember talking to Kimber (noone used his Christian name) about them 50 years ago. He had built the last few known ones at that time.

They were constructed from a flat bottom piece with the two curved sides making a double ended craft with just the three main components. They were used close to shore along the edge of the mudflats.

Thought I might compose a song but there may be something out there already.
