Subject: Tech: iTunes - skipping or repeating in track From: Thompson Date: 05 Mar 16 - 02:43 AM Help, kindly mudfolk: I've just loaded in one of the many excellent versions of Under Milk Wood, the 1965 Stan Tracy Quartet one. My computer doesn't have a CD player, so I've loaded in the four tracks (though according to the Get Info there should be eight) from an old computer. I need to get them to play in the correct order, and to do that, I have to go to the end of one track, then the beginning of the next. But iTunes no longer automatically shows the track as a long line that you can navigate through. (This used to be handy when I was learning the chorus of a song, say, before I couldn't sing any more because of years of steroid inhalers.) Is there any way to get that track view to reappear, so I can click into the part I want? |

Looks as if the four tracks I found on the old computer are only half of the tracks all right. God knows where the original CDs are - probably up in the attic hiding under the spiders. And with them the other wonderful version of Under Milk Wood, with Tom Jones and Mary Hopkin and others. I really should buy an external CD/DVD player/writer, since these classics are unlikely ever to be reissued in digital versions. |

Subject: RE: Tech: iTunes - skipping or repeating in track From: Thompson Date: 05 Mar 16 - 03:28 AM No, BobL, the old one's a huge heavy MacBook, the new one's an Air. |
