And as for song titles, I usually give either what's been given to me, or, if I check online (or book references), the title most common -- sometimes I'll give several titles for clarity. (Or I try to.)

I know, Don, and had planned on including her as "friend of Dianne" and then spaced it when it actually came to posting here. Also had intended to ask Dianne her name, thank Dianne for bringing her, and hope we didn't scare her off. (She rather looked as if she were enjoying herself.)

Linn, Dianne's friend,who's name escapes me,sat with us and joined in a bit on some of the choruses,was certainly part of the crew. Under the heading of my nitpicking, I know #4 as "All Bound to Go", and #18 is "Farewell To Carlingford", minus "Sing". As usual, another fun, uplifting session! Only a month to Go......

The March Monthly Shanty, Forebitter, and Foc's'l Ballad Session will be happening this Saturday, March 19th at The Press Room in Portsmouth, NH from 3:30 to 7:30 PM.

We had quite an interesting (and somewhat impromptu) crowd last month. Hope we will have the same level of excitement this month. I hope Maddie's auto affliction won't interfere with her coming to this month's session. We've been in touch.
