Subject: RE: Folk music in/near Birmingham April 14? From: Jamie McC Date: 23 Mar 16 - 06:38 AM Bellowhead are on at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham that night but, sadly, it's sold out - might be worth checking for returns through the THSH site or Ticketmaster. There are a few folk clubs doing singers' nights if you're prepared to travel out of town a bit (they're all about half-an-hour away from the city centre): Brewood Acoustic Music Club (brewoodacousticmusic.co.uk) ChequeMates in Hopwas, near Tamworth (www.clarettheband.t15.org - website seems to be down at the moment) Common Folk an Pelsall, near Walsall (https://sites.google.com/site/commonfolkpelsall/home) Hope you find something to your taste. |
