This in FF 45.0.2
Show the menu bar (right click in the top window frame and tick 'menu bar>) if it's not there.
Choose 'Help>Firefox Help'
In the box 'search mozilla support' type 'Zoom feature' and press search.
All is explained (I hope)

There's also a product called 'zoomtext' which is "magnification and screen reading software for the visually impaired". There may be other similar programs to which the message may refer.

Antivirus programs sometimes issue warnings about other programs. It often means it can't interfere with them as it would like to and it wants you to turn something off. This message could be one such.

Have you installed some software from Zoom?

When I search on 'zoom' in Win 7 control panel, all it takes me to is settings for "screen magnifier". There are a number of choices there for using that or not.... but I can't see why it would need a warning..

I doubt if this us anything to do with Firefox's zoom facility (ctrl +, ctrl -, ctrl 0). Are you running an addon that might do this? Try restarting Firefox with addons disabled (in 'help'). Is the message from a particular website? If so I would ignore it. And I don't think a website can tell if you're zoomed. Is the message actually from Firefox, or is it from Windows or something else? Firefox itself does not display many warning messages, and they're mostly about security - invalid certificates etc. Does windows think you're using a fancy touchpad for some reason? They do zooming tricks.

Have you tried Googling "turn off Zoom Firefox Windows 7" or some such keyword combination? I see a number of results but can't guess which one describes the exact problem you're experiencing.

On an HP desktop computer, running Windows 7,
and running FireFox, I got an error window to
the effect,

"Your computer is running the Zoom feature.
Zoom can cause". . .

various defects, which I disremember, or maybe
the threatened feature(s) was so vague that I
don't know what it was.)

I'm sure there's a way to turn Zoom off, but I
have been unable to find it. Can anyone help me
on this?
