REFERENDUM
Nigel Parsons: Ttto I don't want to join the army

I don't want to live in Europe.
(But) I don't want to go to war.
I think it's a disgrace, that that's the choice we face,
According to 'Dave' Cameron (or "Lord Haw Haw")
I don't want the UK run by Germans.
I just want our country to be free.
It's all just propaganda, Great Britain could be grander
If we were all outside the E.E.C.

I don't want to spend the Euro
If I'm not on holiday
I'd like to think the pound will always be around (Ok. Dodecagonal from 2017)
Pounds & pence will always be the way to pay.
I don't want 'continental breakfast' sauerkraut, moules or frogs legs
I'd rather have a platter of chips & fish in batter
A pint of bitter and some pickled eggs.

I didn't vote for open borders,
A Common Market's what they said.
They didn't men-ti-on further inter-gra-ti-on.
That's where the disingenuousness has led.
I'm sure I didn't vote for metrication, or gassy beer that makes me belch.
The rod, pole, perch and yard
Were really not that hard.
I'm not a "little Englander". I'm Welsh

I don't want our country run by Europe.
Parliament should not give up that power.
If David must campaign, that Britain should remain
The Queen herself should send him to The Tower.
Let's not bend the knee to Brussels, or give Strasbourg the power it craves.
Give Cameron the bird
On June the 23rd.
Let still Britannia rule the waves.

Unfortunately I cannot respond directly due to their anonymity.

Wishing ones country to have self-determination does not equate to hating other countries or their inhabitants.

Johnson and Farage are opportunists, interested first and foremost in their own political futures, who think that leaving the EU will boost their chances in UK politics. Whether a brexit will benefit or damage the country is a very secondary consideration for them.

Whilst I'd agree with your view in terms of Boris Johnson, I'm not sure that it's true regarding Farage. Much I I dislike the slimy, odious man and his views, I think he probably believes what he's saying.

After all he's contested five parliamentary elections, losing them all, whilst keeping his stance. Long may that continue.

Nigel, your song is bloody terrible. Laughably bad in fact. The Brexit campaign really don't have a clue...
