International Acoustic Music & Dance Night - Friday 27th May

Global Fusion Music & Arts continue their International Acoustic Music & Dance Nights in Mycenae House with an Africa Day Special.

Morrigan will host and as well as ceilidh dances, floor singers, blues from GFMA Project Manager Louisa Le Marchand, there will be some African songs from the GFMA and SE7 singing groups and a special guest appearance of Aubrei Woki and Friends from Botswana performing songs from his album 'Money'.

Doors open at and the ticket price, is a mere £6 or £4 concessions.
There's a subsidised bar and food is served in the café just across from the dance hall

The first evening last month was great with a real variety of acts and callers for the dances. Everyone is welcome to come and join in with the band playing for the dances too.

Spread the word - if we get the numbers and more importantly the subsidised bar makes some money we will be allowed to continue on a regular basis into the autumn and these events will become a definite last Friday of the month feature in the Mycenae House calendar

Heard the good news that Mycenae House were so pleased with the first evening last month (and the bar takings!!!) that we already have the go ahead to continue in the Autumn and beyond
