To compensate for the clarity lacking in Dick's post, let me post this:
The 5th Fastnet Maritime and Folk Festival will be held from the 17th – 19th June 2016The Fastnet Maritime and Folk Festival is an international festival based in the picturesque village of Ballydehob, West Cork, featuring maritime and other folk music.
Sea songs, shanties, dance, craft market, workshops, sea songwriting competition, busking, music in the pubs and main stage on Ballydehob pier. also an Art Expo throughout the weekend
This year we are pleased to welcome Andy Irvine and Steve Turner for the first time, along with old favourites Matt Cranitch and Jackie Daly, and many more. See the guest page for full details.
Most events are free except the workshops. Please go to the tickets page if you want to book in advance.
...or so says the Website. It's not clear that the original poster is literate in English, so it's up to us to help him out a bit. Maybe if I post enough annoying clarifications, he'll get the hint.

Snotty? True. So is posting a critical comment without having the courage to give one's name.

I'm trying to break his bad habits. Being other than snotty, didn't seem to help. I've tried being patient for years.

From here on in, I'll post the clarifications without the snot, since I ought to be charitable to the illiterate...or obstinate.

It's my impression that the original poster has made a years-long habit of being rudely uninformative, posting unattributed copy-pastes and unexplained links, and announcing events while failing to give pertinent details. He had titled the thread Andy Irvine June 19, and I had to change the title to make some sense of it. Why should people in other nations have to open his thread to find out that the event will take place in Ireland?

I think the original poster is intentionally annoying, because he wants attention to feed his needy ego.

And with that, I will close this thread, hoping the original poster will get the hint that threads need to be started with informative titles and informative initial messages. I have no wish to do battle - I just want the original poster to learn how to start a discussion thread. He's not illiterate - he's just ornery.
