Just for information: 'When Adam Was In Paradise' Traditional Songs of Love and Courtship, Frank's unfinished project on 'the love songs' has been completed by his daughter Orla with assistance from Donal Lunny and Phil Callery. It will be launched on Friday Sept. 23rd as part of this year's Frank Harte Festival. Should be a 'cracker'!

In conjunction with the Frank Harte Festival, I am offering (free of charge) a Medieval Walking Tour of Dublin for anyone who wishes to attend.

700 Years of Obsession & Self-Expression (841AD - 1541AD)
Starting point: Doyles Bar (College Street/Pearse Street, Dublin 2.)
3pm Fri Sept. 23rd. Should take approx. 1 & half hrs to 2 hrs. (weather permitting, of course!)

A further update; The singing tour on Sunday morning this year will be by bus. Assemble outside The Teachers' Club, 36 Parnell Square at 10.15am. The buses will depart at 10.30am sharp for Kilmainham Jail, followed by a visit to Arbour Hill Cemetery and will finish in the Garden of Remembrance in Parnell Square.

Just coming down from a high. Another fantastic Frank Harte Festival. All credit to the organisers. Where will we go from here? It will be very hard to top this one I think, but sure you'd never know?!! Listening to 'When Adam was in Paradise' at home today....back to reality & a full shift in Kilmainham Gaol tomorrow.
