If you want to learn to dance Border you could do much worse than attend Freaks in Lymm. The same goes for musicians, the dance workshops give musicians 'real time' experience of learning and playing the Border tunes for a real dancing audience. |

Subject: Freaks in the Peaks, 8-10th July, Lymm From: John J Date: 13 Jun 16 - 05:11 AM Freaks in the Peaks are an 'occasional' Border Morris side who get together every few moths for a weekend of dance, music, singing and general fun. These events are usually held in various venues around the English Peak District, England's first National Park. By way of a change the next Freaks weekend is to be held in Lymm, Cheshire over the weekend of 8th - 10th July 2016. Details of Freaks in Lymm 2016 can be found here Sooo....if you fancy a weekend of dancing for norralot of dosh (£4 / day) why not come along? :-) |
