Lovely song. I don't know all the words, but was written by Les Noden, who lives in Brixham, Devon. I could probably find his e-mail and pass on a request for the words, if that would help.

There's a song called "Back Among the Mermaids" on a CD titled "Bollards" by Les Noden and Nigel Sture. It's available from Crabshell Records (click).
I'm guessing that "Back Among the Mermaids" must be the requested song.

That'll be the one. "I'll be back among the mermaids tomorrow" is the killer line of the song. I'll see if I can contact Les for the words.

Quick bump of this thread to say that this is now in hand. Les has sent me a .img file of the words and music. I think the best thing is for me to type out the words to share here, but I am going to be away until the weekend. I will deal with it in a week or so.
