Subject: RE: Help: Ken Perlman From: John of the Hill Date: 08 Dec 99 - 10:18 PM Charcloth, The complete address should be- http://hometown.aol.com/kenperlman/hompage.htm Hope that works for you, John |
Subject: RE: Help: Ken Perlman From: Tony Burns Date: 09 Dec 99 - 04:52 PM I couldn't get the link to work either so I looked Ken up in Google. A link there took me to a page with the same URL listed above. Who the heck can figure out how AOL does things? In any case, the page says Ken's email is kenperlman@aol.com I think you can get to the page using http://members.aol.com/kenperlman/homepage.htm. Looks like AOL uses frames and screws everything up. |
Subject: RE: Help: Ken Perlman From: John of the Hill Date: 09 Dec 99 - 05:42 PM I don't know if this casts any light on the vagaries of AOL, but I use an iMac and Netscape. I have noticed that when I do a Sherlock search, I rarely get URLs for AOL. Who knows??? John |

Subject: RE: Help: Ken Perlman From: charcloth Date: 09 Dec 99 - 09:17 PM I have his "Basic Clawhammer Banjo" book & CD. Nice stuff! (I knew you could jigs clawhammer style, contrary to what I was told) Anyway I liked it so well I thought I'd improve my finger picking & add some good celtic tunes to boot.(Without getting too far past my abilities.) you know, "keep trying to improve & yet not get frustrated" |
