My husband has dementia and has forgotten a lot of lyrics to the songs he used to sing.
He used to sing a lot of prison songs from the USA and I would be grateful for any lyrics you can help with.
I have managed to type up about a hundred and fifty English folk songs from his old repetoire and about 18 American ones.
At the moment I am stuck on:

Hi, Jan - Many of those songs will turn up if you used the Filter box at the top of the list of threads.

Take the time to look around Mudcat - you'll find lots of treasures here. For the most part, it's best to ask for songs one at a time (after searching to see if we have a thread on that song), instead of starting a thread to ask for a list. But if you have trouble, just ask.

Thank you so much for your help. I did search before I put up the request, and found many versions of the songs, but not the particular ones he sang. Then, there is the problem that with oral tradition songs get changed as they are passed around. He is enjoying getting reacquainted with his old favourites. He suffers my singing them in my tone deaf, key of move way and then remembers .
