I had never heard of this till I came across a query about the Basque syntax of the last line on a language forum.

It's supposed to be the oldest mediaeval Basque song. Catchy tune. Basque is an easy language to pronounce so most singers could do it in the original. It's the same sort of heroic ballad as the Breton "An Alarh", but a lot shorter.
