Mbo, this was written by Tommy Sands. It's on his CD 'The Heart's a Wonder', with one verse sung by a very old friend of his, Pete Seeger. I haven't heard Sean Keane's version, but though I've no doubt it is good - this is IT. Check it out! - Susanne

I see what appear to be a lot of mistakes. Here is the version as I heard it on the Tommy Sands' album:

Thanks, Don. The version in the CD booklet is slightly different again - folk process started by song's author?
