Have you tried looking at the website for FAOTMAD Friends of American Old Time Music and Dance? I am pretty sure they can guide you. I believe one of their members Ray Banks could help,

I know a good player in Todmorden (Clive Green) if that's any use.. There's also Pete Coe in Ripponden, and a guy called Mark near or in Kendal. PM me if you need some details.
