I've not been here long (a few months) but if what I've seen and experienced has been typical, well it puts other forums in the shade.

A thumbs up to all fellow members and applause to those behind the scenes who post sometimes but keep the ship afloat and in good fettle.

Happy Birthday Mudcat, and copious, hearty thanks from me for all the wisdom and assistance and hell, information you've provided over the years. Long may you reign supreme!

Hippo Birdie to all of ewes at Mudcat, to our founder Max, and to all of our member and guest contributors, but this year I want to make a big fuss for the moderators for keeping Mudcat going strong and especially for cleaning up and disposing of the run of spam we have been having.

Here in Oz we see it cluttering up the place, and then when daylight dawns in Mudcatland it is cleaned away again. Silly spammers don't know how much of their own time they are wasting trying to invade this space because our clever Mods are getting rid of the space invaders before they have time to make trouble.

Go Mudcat! We love you! Live long and prosper!

so that's how you remember Mudcat's birthday!!

happy birthday to you both, with thanks to keberoxu for reminding us & to Max & the moderators for all their work.

Mudcat is th first site I look at when I wake & the last before I log out! Of course I check it often during the day as well.

My congrats as well, and many thanks to Max and the mods, and the Mudcatters who contribute to the discussions. I'll be celebrating my 30th year of posting to Mudcat in May next year, although I was lurking for a while before my first post.

To celebrate Mudcat's significant anniversary I made a donation a couple of weeks ago.

And Happy Birthday to you too, keberoxu! :-)

I took a look behind the curtain at Geoff's source code from five years ago. Nice, and actually simple. To pick up a tiny amount of it and add a nice MOAB spin:

Still here, but getting "too old to cut the mustard". I probably won't make it to the 40th.

This place has been fun and informative over these last 25 years that I've been here and I'm deeply grateful to the owner and the mods and all the participants. Here's to 30 more!
