For those who remember the Battle of Worcester Folk Club, my brother Gus Tysoe passed away on 25 September. The funeral will be at Worcester Crematorium on Friday 14 October at 3.15 pm.

I rarely come on Mudcat these days, but hopefully this may reach a few friends from then who otherwise wouldn't know.

I remember Gus, very well, he was a lovely man a true gentleman. I played Battle of Worcester FC a few times and Gus always looked after me well.
I havent seen Gus for a good many years, I am sad to hear this news.
my condolences, Gus was a fun guy who loved music.RIP, my old mate.
Dick Miles.

Gus always asked me to sing a Frank Crumit song, "Theres no one with endurance like the man who sells insurance", he was a real Enthusiast, like so many organisers, an unsung hero, sad news but thankyou for letting me know.I will raise a glass to another good man

Many happy nights with Gus at the BoWFC. Always had a laugh with his answers. I remember asking to sink "Three Wheels on my Wagon" one night he turned up with his car in the car park minus the full quota. He laughed.
