Yep, you seem to get the picture Lilo.

It was in the papers last week that a study has concluded that cod have regional accents. (The study found this nugget to be useful for migration monitoring.)

Cod with regional accents would of course in the oral gills tradition write their own songs that are indigenous to their particular school. There was something about practicing their scales but I only caught the tail end of it.

Thanks everyone. Some great songs to be had. The Dutch song lists an author but I can't read Dutch so I don't know if it is a traditional song or a newish one. I need to avoid copyright problems so will probably not include songwriters unless I know them personally. I want everyone to be able to say to their friend it's ok to make a couple of copies of this..everyone has agreed to it...

I think I will do a cod CD similar to salmon CD set..but this will only have one. Songs from all over...would love Portuguese, basque, French can ada, Norway, Lapland etc. I will be lax about definition of cod. I prob have more than i Need from nf. Not looking for cod liver oil songs. Will beworking with one or two NFS.

Not too many fish all gone songs, hope to have people from all over sing let me fish off cape st.Marys...

There may or may not be room on CD for people to contribute songs....it is going to be tight.
