except

We are in the Lancaster Gate area. ( West 2 I think). We can get to most places near an underground. Can't do the Monday now.
Thanks for the suggestions so far. I'll check them out. I don't want to have to book in advance as I've been on some powerful medication and I'm never sure when and if the side effects may hit.

We hope to make Sharps, Leadfingers. My husband attended several of their workshops at Scarborough. If we do, a lift even to the tube station would be a godsend. My friend has trouble walking - a balance problem -so is quite slow at walking- but there are 4 of us altogether.

Thanks all. Had a lovely week in London. Stomp; Sharps Craig and Robinson; Islington Turner and Green; Musical traditions Jimmy Crowley; Carmina Burana + all the things we did during the days- a week of exceptional weather. I thought the ' folk London' was nicely laid out.
