Subject: RE: Jams, informal gatherings in Geneva NY? From: Dave Ruch Date: 31 Oct 16 - 11:20 AM Hi John - lots of options there. Off the top of my head, and not knowing exactly what kind of music you're interested in: 1) Tunes by the Tracks meets every week in Clifton Springs NY and is run by folkies and pickers. 2) Golden Link Folk Society has a weekly singaround in Rochester 3) you're less than an hour from Ithaca, a hotbed of oldtime and traditional music sessions of all kinds I also know some bluegrass players, all around players, and singers of songs in that general area, so if you want to let me know what you do a little more specifically, I'll be glad to put you in touch with some people. My email is dave "at" daveruch "dot" com |
