One of my all time favorite writers and performers. Ever see him in concert.. Amazing. Look at his lyrics on his great love songs. A wonderful wordsmith. Tonight its Boz for me

Me too Dan - I have everything he's ever recorded. I think my favourite album is his soul and blues tribute "Come On Home", but there are some great tracks on "Some Change", and his later, jazzier stuff is also excellent.

There's also a superb track with him backed by Booker T & the MGs - "There Is Nothing I Can Do" - which is wonderful.

My first hearing of him was his version of "Waiting For A Train", from his Steve Miller days.

I hope you enjoyed his show.

In the very early 70's he was the opening act at my college for the rascals. I remember saying who is this guy he should be the main course. Then mid 70's he released silk degrees..

Way back in the 70's I was obsessed with his great version of Loan Me a Dime and tried to learn all the Duane Allman licks. Boz seems to have become an even better singer and adds some tasteful blues playing in this vid (on an ES-175 which is what I was using).

Some serious guitar-slinging going on there, Dan and a great vocal, not to mention the horn section and keyboards. Hell, it's all good.
