Many South Yorks/Derbyshire folkies (of a certain age) will remember the popular trio Cartwheel who plied their trade around the area and further afield for a number of years, back in the 70s and 80s. The group consisted of Nic, Tony and Geof who produced between them a great sound and entertained with contemporary and traditional material, great vocals and expert musicianship. Well they still get together on occasion (Nic lives in Sweden now) and are appearing at Kiveton this coming Tuesday. Should be a great night so get along and see the legendary Cartwheel, still going strong and as good as ever! Kick off around 8:40. All welcome, bring your best chorus voice.
