Now here's the parody. You can hear it at YouTube:

STILL #2
As recorded by "Ben Colder" (Sheb Wooley), 1963.

SUNG:
(Still,) though you took my car,
(Still,) I know you won't get far.
You'll be sitting still.
(Still,) when a mile is past,
(Still,) you'll run out of gas.
You'll be sitting still.

SPOKEN/RECITED:
I've lost count of the hours and I've lost track of the time,
And you know why, darlin'? I lost my watch!
In fact, I lost a lot o' things when you went away.
What are you gonna do with all my junk?
But still I cling to the mem'ry of when we used to go together.
Why, I must have gone with you for—
Ain't that something? I can't even remember what I went with you for!
But I do remember the nights when we'd stroll hand in hand
And I'd look up at the sky and recite your favorite poem:
"Starkle, starkle, little twink—"
Oh, yeah, that reminds me: I've been readin' so much
'Bout the evils of drinking that I've decided to give it up,
So I quit reading.
Now I don't drink anything stronger than pop.
Of course Pop will drink just about anything.

SUNG:
(Still,) I wish I had a
(Still,) and then every day,
I'd run my still.

SPOKEN/RECITED:
This flame in my heart is like an eternal fire.
It's the worst case of heartburn I've ever had.
And I haven't been able to put out not one little flicker,
Not even with all this beer, I mean, tears.
My friends think that I'm crazy; maybe I am,
But I'll carry this torch just as long as I can.
But you know that one of these days it's gonna get awful short,
And if I don't drop it, well, someday you may just come home and find that I've made an ash of myself!

SUNG:
(Still,) though I tote this torch,
(Still,) it's beginning to scorch.
I can't hold still.

Ooh, that smarts; ouch!

You can't fully appreciate the parody if you don't know the original, and it hasn't been posted at Mudcat before, so—

STILL
As recorded by Bill Anderson, 1963.

SUNG:
(Still,) though you broke my heart,
(Still,) though we're far apart,
(I love you still.)
(Still,) after all this time,
(Still,) you're still on my mind.
(I love you still.)

SPOKEN/RECITED:
I've lost count of the hours, and I've lost track of the days.
In fact, I've lost just about ev'rything since you went away.
Ev'rything that is, except the mem'ries you left me,
And that's one thing that no one can mar.
I don't know who you're with; I don't even know where you've gone.
My only hope is that someday you might hear this song,
And you'll know that I wrote it especially for you,
And I love you, wherever you are.

SUNG:
(Still,) after all this time,
(Still,) you're still on my mind.
(I love you still.)

SPOKEN/RECITED:
This flame in my heart is like an eternal fire,
For ev'ry day it burns hotter, and ev'ry day it burns higher;
And I haven't been able to put out one little flicker,
Not even with all of these tears.
My friends think I'm crazy, and maybe I am,
But I'll carry this torch just as long as I can,
For someday, you might just decide to come home,
And I want you to know—I'm still here.

SUNG:
(Still,) though you broke my heart,
(Still,) though we're far apart,
(I love you still.)

Looking for a parody of Bill Anderson's song "Still"
All I remember is "... I love my still" (instead of "I love you still."
