Subject: Durham Folk Party From: GUEST,dunelmian Date: 30 Jan 17 - 10:19 AM An email from the Rowing Club has spelled the end of the Durham Folk Party. Twenty nine years ago the Folk Party emerged from the ashes of the Durham City Folk Festival. They said that it wouldn't last but DFP lasted and became a much-loved song and dance event. Now it is no more and the folk world is a lesser place. |

And I've heard that Dunelm House (of Festival days) is due to come down - or perhaps be listed! The first listed multistorey car park with bars. Those were the days.
