Dave the Gnome - thanks for replying!   I've pm'd you.

Dave H - I've pm'd you as well, or will have as soon as I've posted this.

JHW - I'll look for that sign next time I go!

Cheers,
Joy

I live close by, Joy - Sutton in Craven. I am however a very poor musician trying to improve on both Anglo concertina and piano accordion. Funnily enough been practising a couple of Cotswold jigs of late - Constant Billy and Black Joke. I would love to join in some practise but doubt very much if I could play 'out' for a long time yet. The other question is would the team be willing to have someone practise possibly at their expense! Any good?

Cheers

DtG

There's a sign in the New Inn saying 'special offers for senior citizens'
I've never dared ask in case they say 'we've let you in haven't we?'

Cononley Morris are looking for musicians.   They're a small, very friendly mixed side dancing mainly Cotswold with some Border, and are based in Cononley, which is about 3 miles south of Skipton in North Yorkshire.   They practise on the first 3 Fridays of the month at the New Inn, Cononley, BD20 8NR

If you're interested, please send a message through their Facebook page   https://www.facebook.com/cononleymorris/?fref=ts    or visit the New Inn on a practise night.   You'll be most welcome!    Any instruments are welcome, as are new dancers.    Lots of fun and smiles.

Cheers, looking forward to hearing from you!

Joy
