Could anyone tell me the chords for Hills of Mexico? seems like it might be G and Em with a C in there somewhere, but I'm not sure where. most of the YouTube versions are on banjo but that doesn't help me since I play guitar. Thanks in advance.....tony

Here's the basic chords for the way I do it, not exactly like but influenced by all my favorite versions by Roscoe Holcomb, The Renegades, Willie Watson (he calls it Mexican Cowboy), Bruce Molsky and Ricky Skaggs.:

Hills of Mexico

(G)Well I (Em)was

in old Fort (G)Worth in (C)Eighteen and Eighty (G)Three

Some old Mexican (Em)cowboy

come (C)steppin' up to (G)me

Sayin' how are you young (Em)fella

and (C)would you like to (G)go

And (Em)spe-(C)nd another (G)season with me in Mexico
