I've always loved singing.I have dozens{hundreds maybe} of songs in my head ans I know very few with complete lyrics though I could find many on the computer.I used to belong to a song circle which was great fun, but it folded.I do attend local live music performances and have attended many Canadian and American folk festivals.Music, especially folk, blues, country and bluegrass is a central part of my life. Unfortunately I was never able to perform well on an instrument.

How nice.   I like it when people sing songs and don't just discuss origins and who recorded them.

I recall once again a song about the whippoorwill and again I can remember only some lines of the song.Those are .......U shall meet her       Though it be where the angels sweetly sing She is mine and the thought of her is sweeter    When it's time for the ?whippoorwill to sing. Could someone please find the complete lyrics. I Do know the melody!
