Hi there.

My grandfather passed away, and I was trying to find the lyrics of a song we sung once at a sea chantey singalong in San Francisco, so I can sing it with my family in remembrance.

It was various stories of mariners' trials, and the only part I remember was part of the chorus:
"Some will be gone a long, long time
Some will be gone forever"

Do you know which song that is and where I can find the lyrics?
