BREXIT BILL
(Tune Railroad Bill)

CHORUS: Brexit Bill, Brexit Bill,
it don't work and it never will
Poor Brexit Bill
Poor Brexit Bill.

With Boris in charge it'll be a farce
The posh blonde prat's talking outta his arse
Brexit Brexit gloats Farage
You wouldn't trust him to sweep your garage
Poor Brexit Bill

Chorus

David Davis plays tough guy
He knows he can't swing it how hard he try
Mrs May boasts but she never will
Far too weak and far too shrill
Poor Brexit Bill

Chorus

....

(and over to the rest of you...)

They try to tell us we didn't know what we were voting for.
I knew exactly:

Referendum Song
ttto: I don't want to join the army.

I don't want to live in Europe.
(But) I don't want to go to war.
I think it's a disgrace, that that's the choice we face,
According to 'Dave' Cameron (or "Lord Haw Haw")
I don't want the UK run by Germans.
I just want our country to be free.
It's all just propaganda, Great Britain could be grander
If we were all outside the E.E.C.

I don't want to spend the Euro
If I'm not on holiday
I'd like to think the pound will always be around (Ok. Dodecagonal from 2017)
Pounds & pence will always be the way to pay.
I don't want 'continental breakfast' sauerkraut, moules or frogs legs
I'd rather have a platter of chips & fish in batter
A pint of bitter and some pickled eggs.

I didn't vote for open borders,
A Common Market's what they said.
They didn't men-ti-on further inter-gra-ti-on.
That's where the disingenuousness has led.
I'm sure I didn't vote for metrication, or gassy beer that makes me belch.
The rod, pole, perch and yard
Were really not that hard.
I'm not a "little Englander". I'm Welsh

I don't want our country run by Europe.
Parliament should not give up that power.
If David must campaign, that Britain should remain
The Queen herself should send him to The Tower.
Let's not bend the knee to Brussels, or give Strasbourg the power it craves.
Give Cameron the bird
On June the 23rd.
Let still Britannia rule the waves.

Yawn, Nigel.

You posted your crap over a year ago and was told then how idiotic it was. That's even more self evident now.

None so blind as will not see...

Thank you 'Guest' for the link. I couldn't find it earlier.

Feel free to continue your critique from your position of anonymity.
Of course, it may just be that you are a total non-entity!

Michael Gove. Er, meant to say:
"That 350 million we won't pay
Can go to nurses from abroad
With a Rights to Work Accord
Poor Brexit Bill

All change cost "Don't ya know"
Pay-back time 10 years or so
By which time the goalposts move
Deniers, liars, cannot prove
Poor Brexit Bill

This song will grow and linger long
The trolls are ever crying "wrong"
Let them show their faeced-faces
Guest has guessed, for his basis
Poor Brexit Bill

Of course, it may just be that you are a total non-entity!

"When you have told me what you mean by 'entity', we will resume the argument."

Bertrand Russell

Does the fact that I've remembered to use my name lend my comment greater validity?

well i thought it was very amusing Nigel. people who just slag off some folk effort and run off anonymously should have their comments disallowed.

its cowardly and negative and we can do without that sort of thing.

Railroad Bill/Brexit Bill was a clever idea as well.

i like the idea of people writing songs like that. well to be honest - i like the idea of people writing songs and trying to be creative. i get fed up with people who couldn't amuse or entertain as long as they'd got a hole in their arse making snidey anonymous comments.

Big Al,

In answer to your question.

Agreeing a trade deal with the UK would be “enormously difficult” as “trust would be destroyed.”

Having had the EU persuade the UK to accept a one-sided 'deal' and having that rejected by Parliament, one wonders why the EU think that trust has been destroyed.

Re-negotiate a more balanced 'deal' and maybe trust may be rebuilt. Germany needs the UK market to survive and the EU is doing its best to commit suicide. A no deal Brexit will be very difficult for both the EU and the UK, but as the UK's productivity has diminished due to the EU, the UK starts from a low level where the only way is up.

Germany is at a high level where the only way is down. Why should the UK buy overpriced vehicles from Germany when the ROW sell vehicles which are better and cheaper?.

Why should the UK buy overpriced agricultural products, due to the CAP, when the ROW sell better, cheaper and earlier products?.

Why should the UK buy overpriced French wine when Australia's wine is cheaper and better? I could go on and on, but that's enough for now.

And on top of all that, look at those French and German ministers in senior EU positions and that Polish bastard, they are all a pack of cunts.

GUEST,Dennis Heaney - definitely a song in that.

Also cannot understand why Mr. Red didn't give that cliched, oft quoted saying in full. It should of course be:

"Opinions are like arseholes, everybody's got one and like arseholes they should rarely, if ever, be aired in public."
