Would like to be there Steve but we will be with friends in the Scottish borders singing more than a few songs and imbibing the odd drop.

Might be interesting to see if anyone recognises the old boy at the Folk Union One from the seventies that Judy put on Facebook to try to help me catalogue my twenty thousand or so photographs.

If you are anywhere near Sheffield, Yorks. On Saturday we have our 20th Anniversary TSF Meeting which is free and open to all.

9.30 to 5.30 though the presentations are in the afternoon.

It's at Sheffield University Humanities Research Institute at the north end of Gell St close to the inner ring road (Upper Hanover ST)

The Roy Palmer Memorial Lecture will be given by Ian Russell. There will be short presentations followed by discussions on what the group's members have achieved in the last 20 years and what still needs doing. There will also be a look at the newly online Carpenter Collection by some of its researchers.
