One way to organize this messy Presidency is to view it as a TV show which is how Donald sees reality.

If so... we are seeing the finale' of season 2 and a preview of season 3.

In the dramatic conclusion of season 2 we see the southern NY US attorney Berman (rep. Trump appointee) obtain a search warrant for Trumps fixer/lawyer of records in his office and hotel room while fixer Cohen's actual apartment is getting a makeover.
