In a true story about false motives, ego, international politics, religion and conspiracy theories comes a saga akin to Indiana Jones and the Dome of the Rock. Enter Donald Trump's ego fed with plastering his name on a train station at the Western Wall that will carve tunnels for 2 miles under the ancient Solomon's Temple. This is where the current Dome of the Rock mosque sits.
The director of transportation and an intelligence officer for Israel Mr. Katz sold Mr Trump the project easily by presenting it to him as a honorary gift. Donald knows not what may be excavated in chambers under the Temple be it the arc of the covenant or other mysteries, nor would he care. However Muslims do care.

Cue the soundtrack to Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

The idea that the Nazis had teams of researchers hunting for supernatural treasures, religious relics, and entrances to a magical land of telepathic faeries and giants might sound like a bad History Channel documentary, or out-takes from an Indiana Jones movie. But despite the considerable popular interest in all things Nazi-related, and all things supernatural, relatively few people are aware of a very real organization that was the inspiration for the Indiana Jones plots: the Nazi Ahnenerbe, or the Ancestral Heritage Research and Teaching Organization.

The Ahnenerbe (which literally means ?Inheritance of the Forefathers?) was a paranormal research group, established by order of SS head Heinrich Himmler on 1 July 1935. It was expanded during the Second World War on direct orders from the Fuhrer. Hitler and other top Nazi leaders? (Himmler foremost among them) interest in the occult is well and widely documented. The Nazi Party actually began as an occult fraternity, before it morphed into a political party. Himmler?s SS, ostensibly Hitler?s bodyguard but in practice the leading special forces of the Nazi Army, was wholly designed based on occult beliefs. Wewelsburg, the castle headquarters of the SS, was the site of initiation rituals for twelve SS ?knights? that was modeled on Arthurian legend. The magical powers of runes were invoked, and the Ahnenerbe logo features rune-style lettering. Psychics and astrologers were employed to attack the enemy and plan tactics based on the alignment of the stars. Nazis tried to create super-soldiers, using steroids, in a twisted interpretation of Nietzsche?s ?bermensch, and they sought to reanimate the dead?coffins of famous Germanic warriors were found hidden in a mine, with plans to bring them back to life at the war?s end.

The Ahnenerbe sent expeditions all over the world. To Tibet, to search for traces of the original, uncorrupted Aryan race, and for a creature called the Yeti, what we would call the Abominable Snowman. To Ethiopia, in search of the Ark of the Covenant. To the Languedoc, to find the Holy Grail. To steal the Spear of Destiny, which Longinus used to pierce Christ?s side as Christ hung on the cross, and which disappeared from a locked vault in Nurnberg. To Iceland, to find the entrance to a magical land of telepathic giants and faeries called Thule, which Hitler and most of the Nazi brass believed was the place of origin of the Aryans, and was very real. If they could find this entrance, believed to be accessible via a secret code hidden in a Medieval Icelandic saga called The Eddas, then the Nazis might accelerate their Aryan breeding program, and recover the supernatural powers of flight, telepathy and telekinesis that they believed their ancestors in Thule possessed, and which was lost due to inter-breeding with ?lesser? races.

As crazy as all this may sound, it was fervently believed by many in the Nazi Party?so much so that huge sums of money were invested into research, along with hundreds of workers and scientists. This pseudo-scientific institute both sought supernatural advantages for the Nazi war effort, but also had a propagandistic agenda, to seek ?scientific? evidence to support Nazi beliefs, like Aryan racial superiority.

Now back to the conspiracy theories if Trump is told of treasure in "his tunnel". Proponents of archeologic excavation under the first temple in Israel have faced push back from Muslims for decades. With the help of a US President to take back Muslim lands in the old city of Jerusalem is almost certain to be a railway 'too far'.
Furthermore would Trump claim powers from antiquities for his base to raise his demagogic status? Where this goes is al uncertain now but this tiny story will emerge a monster as it ages.

He did not say he ruled by divine right or supernatural objects like the sword of destiny, he did not say he rules by Constitutional right.

If 32 million people in the US are illiterate and another 15 million are illiterate in English only we should add the intellectually deficient functional illiterates which is x million (x for non college grads and severely ignorant around 25%) An additional number of people persuaded by click bait and dubious sources round out the various versions of the illiterate as well as the medically illiterate.
This is almost half the country.

No wonder the few who voted went nearly half for Trump. He is one of them.

Vigilance is the cost to maintain a democratic republic or a socialist democracy.

It was there he grew an undeserved reputation by his association in a Gravity film production of 'The Devil' financed by a Mercer subsidiary. He claimed he cast the Devil who was a phenomenal Obama look alike but was nearly blue black. All Ian did was merely sign off on the payroll.

His ideas for welfare reform included 'work for health care' and making the purchase of seafood ineligible with food stamps. Few of his ideas were successful in Republican Congressional campaigns.
It was then he revealed parts of his master plan.
The rumors it generated made his employment tenuous. He snagged a new job at Heritage foundation around the time Jim Demint took over.
By 2013 Ian had a hand in getting Jim Demint fired.

Ian had out conservatived the conservatives and excited certain alternative groups and individuals like Roger Stone. Ian's master plan was hailed as a blueprint for the perfect conservative revolution. At first it was called pop pop.

We all see the first stage of a popular populist engaging the tribal instincts and ushering in the alt conservative agenda. Few of us know the final solution. Quite simply it is an award to designees or the families of the welfare recipient or the incarcerated. $1,000 goes to the beneficiary of those qualified to receive the award by killing themselves. It will save money in food stamps, health care and incarceration. Further it will shrink the numbers of suicide by cop.

Assistance will be provided to those who need it and expansion of the program could replace self deportation or enemies of the State.

Step 2 was not all Ian's idea. The changes made were all military related. When blacks kneeled at football games in protest of murders by the police it was equated with an insult to the military patriotism and veterans. Welfare folks or inner city populations were being called a direct drain on the military. Ian Angely was fine with this diversion but he felt sidelined when he was left in the dark regarding funding and money laundering which was actually to his advantage.
There was information he knew that did put him in some jeopardy but it was mostly open secrets like Rupert Murdoch's former wife being a Chinese spy.

Like most victim's of the Peter Principle Mr. Angely overestimated his own talent and importance. The line between the grand planners and the marginal and dispossessed was subject to a whim or the paranoia of an authoritarian. Whenever he worried about being in too deep his skin began to crawl.

If you asked yourself WTF is this, its what I call a time skeleton. If I go back and help flesh out the characters, locations, sounds and dialog we end up with a murder mystery. I'm lucky to be 1% of the idea process but I am often over ruled or entirely rejected. I only wish my wife liked sci fi but she has read MM for 45 years and bios for 40.
