Carol Anderson : The Goose Is Out! Thursday 12 October.7PM, £7.
The Ivy House, 40 Stuart Road, London SE15 3BE.

Floorpsots very welcome :) ...... £7 on the door.

Carol Anderson is a highly regarded London based fiddler from Aberdeenshire, who has previously headlined at the Goose with Stuart Forester.

She has a distinctive style combining East Coast and West Coast influences, stemming from her early tuition from Jean-Ann Callender, a native of Lochaber, and later tuition at summer schools from Aonghas Grant.

Carol has a keen interest in Scottish pipe music, and this is reflected in her repertoire.

We are delighted she is coming back solo to headline a club night.

Agreed - Carol is terrific and ought to be a legend. She also has a lot to say in between the tunes, with a great line in understated sardonic charm. Much more than a technical whiz.

Please tell her that "Kenny" from Aberdeen says "hello", and ask her to sing "The Pirn-Tae'd Loon" :). If you're in the area, do go and see her. You'll hear a great night's music.
