Can't go wrong with a Shure SM-58 through a Crate Acoustic amp.

After a gig, someone came up to me and said, "I wish I could sing like that!"

I replied, "I wish I could sing like that, too!"

Shure Beta 87A condenser bigs up female voices best IMHO
