I mentioned some months ago that the Seaford Folk Club had closed as a Club last December. I gather it continued as a sing around for some time, but I’ve no news of any activity recently.

However, entering the URL - http://seafordfolkclub.com - into your web browser reveals that it has now been taken over by the: Cannabis Folk Club!

Must get down there immediately... :-)

I can well believe that medicinal use of cannabis is popular in Seaford.

Jokes aside is the site hacked or has somebody grabbed the domain on expiry?

Oh man, when I first saw this listing I thought it said "Seafood Fork Club" - maybe it was an advance case of the munchies... got brownies?

I suspect the domain has been grabbed - the name is now a blind...

The site was closed earlier this year.

I don't know if the singaround is still on but was supposed to be on the third Thursday of the month.

Further to the post from Vectis....We have a small "Folkish Night" first Tuesday of each month at the Prince Of Wales pub in Newhaven. Just a small friendly gathering in a proper old fashioned boozer. No mics or amps to worry about, and a generous offering of snacks!....and a couple of friendly dogs to fuss over if the music gets too much!
