Subject: Tech: iPad iOS 11.1 Update - Punctuation probs

Ever since I updated my iPad to iOS 11.1, every time I type an inverted comma, it appears in my Mudcat posts as a question-mark (query).

Anybody know how to fix this?

I forgot to switch off smart punctuation on my iPhone, so for a day or two you could tell whether I was using my iPhone or iPad!

Another thing I've done after the update is to turn off that new keyboard with the built-in swipes. I now have the ol' familiar iPad keyboard back. Just thought I'd throw in that you don't HAVE to have that new-fangled thing! Settings-General-Keyboard, then switch off "enable key flicks."
