I know that Joan Baez & Donovan sang his song, "Colours" as a duo but are there any other songs that they sang together besides "Colours?"

I always liked hearing them sing that song. I know Joan covered some other Donovan songs (but not singing them with Donovan.)

So I am just trying to research other songs that Joan & Donovan may have sung besides "Colours."

Hi, Lin-
YouTube has "Colours" and "Catch the Wind" by Baez and Donovan. Didn't see anything else right off.

Thanks Joe. Donovan and Joan Baez have always been my favourite singers. Have seen both in concerts over the years.
Flew from Ontario, California to Monterey, Calif. in about 2010 just to see Donovan perform at a concert venue in downtown Monterey.
Of course spent 3 days up there so I could go to Carmel, Pacific Grove, Carmel Valley and Monterey to see the sites! Wonderful seafood in many restaurants at Cannery Row and Fisherman's Wharf.
Love, love, love that area and when I win big on the Lotto that is where I would like to live. Ha, ha, ha. Well I did win $10.00 on a Lotto ticket about a month ago. I would move to the Carmel Valley.
Joan Baez used to have a home up there many, many years ago.

Hi, Lin - I enlisted in the U.S. Army, and that gave me the opportunity to live in Monterey for 9 months while I was studying German. But I already knew German, so it was a 9-month vacation. What was the concert venue that hosted Donovan?

I went all the way to Santa Cruz from Sacramento to see Baez - and I'm sure glad I did.

Hi Joe:

I believe it was called The Golden State Theater on Alvarado St in downtown Monterey. It was a nice theater but not sure how often they use it for concerts. I think they have other programs there too.
The concert with Donovan was very nice and the theater had a pleasant scent of a light fragrance of some sort - not overpowering by any means during the concert. It was just for the Donovan concert.
Donovan sang the song, "The Promise" which was a beautiful song he wrote and sang that night. He introduced it by saying something to the effect that it was a song he would sing at concerts but not plans to have it released on an album. (not sure if it has since been released since then though) It was a lovely sad ballad and I know you can hear it on Youtube but not sure the reason it was not going to be released on an a album. I loved Monterey and Carmel and just the entire area up there. I know about the language school in Monterey.
So you too traveled a distance to go to a concert when you saw Joan Baez. I always have memories of Joan and her sister Mimi living in the Carmel Valley. I used to know a man many years ago (passed away a long time ago now) who had met Mimi on many occasions at a theater he ran up there (a playhouse I believe) in the Monterey area (a small playhouse)

We used to have a "pleasant scent of a light fragrance of some sort" at symphony concerts in Sacramento, back when they allowed smoking in the lobby.
A person more knowledgeable than I, explained that it was marijuana.

For some reason this reminds me
of Mary Hopkin,
singing "Lord of the Reedy River"
--Donovan wrote it,
and I think that's Donovan singing backing vocals.
Always thought it was precious.

Jae, was it in mid-80s that you saw Baez in SC? If so, when she asked how's the sound I was the guy halfway back who asked for "a little more 4k please!"

The Golden State Theater in Monterey had the perfume scent wafting through the air during the Donovan concert. Not marijuana though (thank goodness) I know the theater spokesperson explained about it before concert started and said something about a light scent would be in the air throughout the concert. I can't recall the name of it though. The theater people/management had set it up, not a concertgoer for the purpose of the Donovan concert.
It was very nice - very light scent and not strong or anything.
I don't think it was incense because incense is usually somewhat strong. More like a very light perfume I guess.
I wasn't familiar with the scent so I could not identify it.
