Xmas starts this coming weekend with the rather wonderful Dickens Festival in Rochester Kent with lots of stalls, entertainment, bands, morris dancing and Dickensian characters. There are two parades each day and on Sunday it all finishes off with an open air carol service by the castle complete with fake snow! There are in excess of 37K visitors from all over so fantastic atmosphere

Morrigan are singing on the Sunday 3rd throughout the day from 10.30am on the Old Post Office stage.

So hoping it isn't going to snow for real in Rochester tomorrow, Yes Flora Victorian dress does allow ample room for thermal underwear - just as well. Do come and join us everyone if you can for this fantastic FREE day out with Dickensian costumes, brilliant street music, parades, fake snow and a carol concert as a grand finale.
