The original thread was a request for information--Lost? Canadian Ballad.
Title changed to:-Re: Lost Canadian Ballad: John Taylor & His Daughters 3.
How does one retrieve this thread?

Someone certainly read it and changed the title.

Your original title was more informative than the mod's attempt to improve on it.

Hi, Gutcher -
Mudcat's search engine is powered by an index that is updated only occasionally, so it doesn't pick up recent threads. To find threads by thread name, your best tool is the Filter box, at the top of the list of threads on the Forum Menu. Put a distinctive word from the thread title like Canadian in the box and set the age back. Works like a charm.
I retitle threads for clarity, to tell people what's in a thread without forcing them to open it. I do my best to retain the original title (or most of it), and simply augment the title for clarity.
-Joe-
