NEW CD: "TRUE ENOUGH"

Very happy to announce the release of my newest CD, "True Enough." Some very fine musicians helped with this project, and I am so grateful for their help. 14 new original songs, a seldom heard version of "Two Sisters," songs about old stuff, fiddles, and bad leadership. It's available, via CD-Baby and most digital streaming outlets.

and on my website,

I hope you will give it a listen and enjoy it.

Larry,
May I suggest you ask the moderators to add your name to the subject field? You have other friends here who wouldn't know this is your thread.

The title of my new book is to be True Enough! Talk about coincidence.

Considering that you already have your cd on the market, I will come up with another name. Of course, I want a copy of the new cd.

I am very happy to announce the release of my newest CD, "True Enough" a collection of original contemporary and traditional songs. This album was wonderfully recorded by multi-instrumentalist, Eric Kilburn who also appears on the CD and thanks to grey Larsen, Cindy Kallet, Sonny Barbato,Tom White,Jordan Tireel-Wysocki, Valerie Thompson, and Anna Huckabee-Thompson. It is available through CD Baby, and just about every digital streaming website out there---but don't forget the actual CD which can be purchased via my website and/or CD Baby. I wanted to make this a complete presentation where the songs blend and compliment one another. That can get lost with single song downloads only. I also think it weakens what we are all trying to do in promoting and preserving folk music. I've set the price of the disc lower than commonly found to promote that idea. I hope and think you might gain a lot more hearing this on a CD player. Thanks! (Larrykaplanmusic,

Kendall,

No, please don't change the name of your book! This kind of thing happens alot and in fact from the "legalistic" side of things, titles are permitted to appear in multiple places for different kinds of projects. I certainly had no idea that your book would/will have the same title, nor you I, and as I think I said in an earlier Facebook exchange, my choice of that title came from the memory of a college classmate who used to use the phrase, "well, its true enough...." for everything because he disliked confirming detail in things he told others. He sadly passed away during the Vietnam era. You know we could for fun, make this a package deal--buy one of your books and get 10 free copies of my CD since odds are nobody will want my CD anyway. Perhaps they need table coasters since some of the songs deal with boats. I will---and do---promote your work which you know I consider brilliant, whenever I do a concert. I won't dare do a Copyright search to see how many times "True Enough" appears as a title of something, but I think it might be many. At least we know each other, and you didn't represent the "True Enough Spagetti Sau ce Company" or some orthopedic back brace company. If this is actually a problem please let me know by email (Larry_Kaplan1@yahoo.com) Take care

Here is the first track of my new CD, "True Enough." The song is called "Don't forget to play your fiddle," with help from Eric Kilburn, Tom White, and Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki. If you still don't want my CD, be sure to check out Kendall Morse's soon to be released book. That's a sure bet!
