Are Barry and Robin Dransfield still with us? Their "Rout Of The Blues" may have been one of the top 3 albums of that time- if nit top three period. Best wishes to them both.

greetings from Northern Appalachia

b) Dransfield Violins, no "own website", but details on http://www.192.com/atoz/business/liskeard-pl14/musical-instrument-restoration-and-repair/dransfield-violins/4d729ac16a4ef32ff7c7d67aad0ef180f56578b8/ml/

When they were still with Harrogate Folk Club in the early to mid 60's, they often came over to The Lowther Hotel Folk Club in York at ridiculously low fees - they must have liked us! Barry was a great influence on my own fiddle playing.

Robin was the best man at our wedding some 52 years back. Sadly Nick died some years ago.
