Subject: Lichfield Folk Festival, June 2018

Dear all,

I've been strong-armed in to going to Lichfield for the Weekend 15th to 17th June for the Festival there. I understand that this is now almost entirely a dance festival, attended by those who like walking pretty patterns to music. I am basically nowadays a musician/singer who can't do as many dances as I could. Does anybody know this Festival who can point me towards some where I can play over the weekend please? Are there likely to be any spin-off sessions any where in the city at all?
Incidentally, I love Lichfield itself!

Thanks,

Chris.

The Three Sisters - make it a city.
Erasmus Darwin (Gfather of Charles) was the local doctor there. His house is a museum (was 10 years ago).
Sessions I wouldn't know about. There is a Tamworth Folk Club Fridays and the Checkmates FC in Hopwas, but what day is a mystery and the Fakebook page is out of date.
