Subject: RE: David Gunn's Bodhrans - County Kerry From: GUEST,Mark Bluemel Date: 09 Mar 18 - 03:38 AM "Davey's home in Trieneragh has become something of a meeting place for musicians and his wife Mamie always obiliges the visitors with a few tunes on the accordion." Which is why no musician has ever been seen at Trieneragh twice ;-) |

Subject: David Gunn's Bodhrans - County Kerry From: Joe Offer Date: 07 Mar 18 - 06:02 PM I got an email from somebody named Eamon. He says: I was wondering if David Gunn from Co.Kerry was still with us and making Bodhrans. I had one of his from the 70's. It was made from a cheese round, some coat hangers and the skin was tacked on with thumb tacks. It sounded wonderful! I lost it in a messy break up.(Yes,that old story.) Any information is appreciated. Slainte',Eamon |
