If one exists, I'd like to join. I don't know if there is one, but I know who to ask. Go to his illustrious website at the University of North Carolina, and ask someone there. It's at http:/metalab.unc.edu/doug/DocWat and let us know if they have such a club.

There is a very large Doc Watson fan club that started in the sixties. It's called the folk revival.
