I wish people would get the spelling of her name (Debbie) and Eric (Andersen) straightened out. Sadly, the passed away in Dec. 2017.

I found this 2017 article fascinating Debbie Green, out of the shadows

Debbie sounds very talented indeed, self-taught guitar, piano and electic base and came to grips well with modern audio technology.

PS - Google works much better with "Debbie Green" and "Eric Andersen"...

From Andersen's LP/CD credits s:

"Debby Green" plays second guitar on "Todoy is the highway" and "Bumblebee" on Eric Andersen's first Vangauard LP "Today is the Highway" c1965

"Debbie Green" plays 2nd guitar on "Violets of dawn" and "Close the door lightly when you go" on EA's 2nd LP "'Bout Changes & things" c1966.

"Debbie Green" also plays 2nd guitar on "Violets of dawn" on EA's 3rd LP "'Bout Changes 'n'Things Take 2" c1967.

"Debby Green"" is credited on piano on EA's 4th LP "More Hits from Tin Pan Alley" c1968.

"Debby Green" plays piano on EA's 5th LP "Avalanche"

"Debbie Green" gets "special thanks" on EA's 6th LP "Eric Anderson". She may or may not be the woman in the red dress with EA on the back cover. The last track on the LP is "Go now, Deborah".

"Deborah Green Andersen" sings backing vocals on "Blue river" (with Joni Mitchell) and on "Round the bend" and "Deborah" gets "special thanks" on EA's 7th LP "Blue River" c1972.

"Deborah Andersen" is credited with backing vocals on Side 1 and with "Very special thanks" on EA's 1975 LP for Arista "Be True To You".

No credits of any sort for any variation of Debby/Debbie/Deborah on the next LP "Sweet Surprise" from 1976.... good to hear she is still with us and active.

Poor Eric, the 2nd most-mis-spelled folk artist of all time, behind the clear winner Loudon Wainwright III.)

Debbie Green is credited with singing on some cuts on the recently issued 2-CD set from Arista/Legacy, The Essential Eric Andersen (not, by the way, spelled "Anderson"). She is also mentioned on a number of occasions in this documentary, my review of which appears here:

As of May 17 2017 Debby Green was battling cancer. I have no further information. Perhaps you could contact her daughter, Sari Andersen Bouret.

I was wondering what ever became of singer & one time girlfriend of Eric Anderson (in the 1960's?)

Did she ever sing on any albums as a solo artist or sing on any songs on Eric Anderson's LPs back in the 1960's?

I even read somewhere that she taught Joan Baez some chords on the guitar back in the 60's.

I just don't know if she ever released any of her own songs or duet with another singer?
